Benfica B secured another win in the Segunda Liga against Académico de Viseu, winning 2-0 with goals from Rebocho and Sancidino, with both Luis Felipe Vieira and Rui Vitoria in attendance.  The team line up included: 

Miguel Santos, Pedro Rebocho, João Nunes, Vitalii Lystcov, Alexandre Alfaiate, Pawel Dawidowicz, João Carvalho, Diogo Gonçalves, Sancidino Silva, Renato Sanches and Francisco Vera.

The first half saw no goals, however in the second half Rebocho scored the first in the 56th minute, the assist coming from Sancindino. Sancindino himself would secure the win eight minutes later scoring the second goal of the game, with the play coming from Renato Sanches and João Carvalho

With this win, Benfica sits in fifth place, with  ten points from the first six games of the season, which include three wins, one draw, and two losses. The team will be back in action next Wednesday at 16h00, with an away game to Vila das Aves. 

Benfica B coach, Hélder Cristóvão, said after the match that, "It was a good game with a lot of high intensity. The team pressed very well and it can be dominating, both very dynamic and precise." He also wanted to thank the fans who came to the Caixa which helped the team to win. 

Rebocho also gave a statement after the game, saying, "We played against a good team who had ten points, which meant Viseu had obtained very good results so far. Benfica played a very good match and were very good, the two goals giving them more security and confidence."
