The Benfica Foundation, a charitable initiative, has helped hundreds of disadvantaged children over the years and players from the B and junior sides played their role in visiting the largest paediatric hospital of Portugal 'Hospital Dona Estefania'.

This annual visit saw Rui Fonte (Benfica B forward) and André Ferreira (Junior goalkeeper) visit children at the hospital which brought a lot of smiles.
